ActNow XR exemplifies how innovative art and technology can inspire climate action while leading by example. By combining clean energy with verified carbon offset initiatives, we aim to create a sustainable experience that aligns with the values of a stable and equitable future for all. 

We will rigorously track all emissions associated with:

• Travel:  International flights and ground transportation for our touring crew.
• Shipping: Land and sea transit of our shipping containers carrying the art installation.
• Local Setup: Use of machinery and tools for installation and strike at each venue.

While our art installation's LED and sound systems are 100% powered by clean energy—utilizing solar and wind power on-site—additional emissions from the broader project logistics will be carefully mitigated through responsible offset strategies.

Through our trackable offset system, audiences, sponsors, and partners can engage directly in offsetting emissions related to the project. Utilizing unique QR codes and digital tools, supporters can contribute to the cause and explore the verified climate projects we support. 

For emissions that cannot be eliminated through renewable energy use, we will purchase verified carbon offsets through the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM). Specifically, we will focus on high-integrity projects that accelerate climate mitigation certified by:

Gold Standard: Supporting initiatives with social and environmental co-benefits, including renewable energy development, reforestation, and community-led sustainability projects.

Verra (Verified Carbon Standard): Backing REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) and other impactful carbon reduction programs.
